Mandatory Orientation Meeting

Monday July 16, Sabino Auditorium. 6:00-8:30pm.

Students and Parents MUST attend!

Join us for an informative evening! Come learn about this year's program, get answers to your questions, join in!

Band Camp Schedule:

  • Mon. July 16
    • Drum Majors Meeting: 1-3pm, Sabino Band Room
    • Section Leaders and Band Council Meeting: 3-5pm, Sabino Band Room
    • Orientation: 6-8:30pm, Sabino Auditorium
  • Tues. July 17-22, 8:00 am - 9:00 pm Daily
    • Students must be at Sabino Band Room to depart on the busses at 8:00 am daily. They will return to school at approximately 9:00 pm each night. Parents wishing to transport their own students must complete a Transportation Form, have it approved by the Sabino Activities Office and get a copy to Mr. Marchant prior to Band Camp.
    • Band Camp Meals: Both Lunch and Dinner Breaks will be provided to students during Band Camp.
      • Students bringing their own meals should use insulated containers with ice packs. SIMBA also provides coolers where students may store meals sealed in large Ziploc Storage Bags. Students' names must be on their meal bags.
      • The Band Camp Meal Ticket including both lunch and dinner for all days of Band Camp may be ordered at a cost of $55.00.
      • Individual meals may be purchased for $6.75 per meal.
      • Students wishing to purchase meals or a meal ticket need to order and purchase tickets in advance so sufficient meals are available.
      • One free meal will be provided for every 4 hours volunteered. Volunteers need to place their meal orders prior to July 16.

       

  • Saturday July 21, Closing Dinner and Program
    • Pima County Fairgrounds. 11300 S. Houghton Rd.
      Dinner at 5:00 pm. Performance at 6:00 pm

Dinner for all band members, parents and family compliments of SIMBA. Students and parents are invited to join us for Pizza and Soft Drinks. Dinner will be followed by students performing for us all they've learned in Band Camp!

Come for dinner. Stay for the program.

Band Camp 2007 is vital to the success of our marching program. The participation and attendance of every student is crucial. If you have a conflict with the Band Camp 2007 dates, please contact Mr. Marchant immediately at 584.7924 or by e-mail.
