2007-2008 Marching Band and Guard Participation Materials

NOW DUE!

Marching Band/Guard participation materials were mailed to parents the week of June 12th. In addition to all the information you will need to register for Marching Band/Guard participation, you will find forms containing important dates and information you will need to keep. Complete all forms, write and sign your check, then return promptly to ensure your student's participation in the Band program next school year! Note there are two portions to participation registration. One for SIMBA and one for Sabino High.

Materials Due June 25th to be sent to SIMBA . . . . Deadline extended to JUNE 30th

  • Information and Payment Form - Complete all information and sign. Note "Packet Cost" covers all participation fees except trip expenses. make certain you include your "Student Account Available Funds" and multiple student discount (if more than one band member in the family). Student shirts are included in the packet. Parents may order this year's show shirt separately.
  • Triplicate Transportation Forms were not available at the time of mailing. They will be available at Orientation Night, July 16th.
  • Volunteer Form
  • Band Camp Meal Form: Circle your meal choices!
  • Uniform/Show Shirt Order Form: Note your size. Order parent shirts and include payment if ordering.
  • Your payment: made check out to "SIMBA". Note the optional payment schedule offered to fit family budgets!

  • TUSD Activities Packet
  • $30.00 check payable to "Sabino High School" for TUSD Extracurricular Activity Participation Fee.
  • Note, these materials must be sent to the school so your student may be cleared to participate in the mandatory Band Camp.

Didn't Get Yours Yet OR Need Another Copy?

If you did not yet receive yours, contact SIMBA Secretary, Susan Monroe, ASAP by email to susan@monroes.us or phone, 749-4244 (work) or 760-1731 (home). You could also print out a copy of the packet by clicking on the links below. You will need to print out all three (3) links to get the information which was mailed out. The forms are here to print out an additional copy in case you've made a mistake filling yours out, too.

2007 Marching Band Registration Forms - To Be Completed and Returned before June 25th to SIMBA Secretary
Remember to include your payments (Packet Fees, Band Camp meals, parent shirt order optional) along with your completed forms.

2007 TUSD / Sabino Fine Arts / Activity Packet - To Be Completed and Mailed before July 1st to Sabino HS
Remember to include your $30 participation Fee with these forms. Processing this material through Sabino must take place or your student cannot participate in mandatory Band Camp!

Student Account Balance To Apply To Fees

If you are interested in finding out your current Individual Student Account balance, please contact SIMBA Treasurer, Hank Dittmer, hpdittmer@aol.com. He will provide you the balance on your student account for the SIMBA Packet Fee payment form.

A Few Details To Note

Stop looking for your Triplicate Transportation Form and Calendar Form! The Triplicate Transportation Form and the Calendar Form did not make it into the packets. The Transportation Forms will be provided at the Orientation Night, July 16th. It is MANDATORY for us to have one of these forms for each student attending Band Camp. Make certain you have a parent attending Orientation Night with your student. We apologize for missing the mention of the Calendar Form. There are not currently plans to produce a calendar this year.

It is also vital we have at least one e-mail address for your family, preferably a parent's, so we can provide you timely information about events throughout the year.
