Volunteers .... priceless

Volunteers.    
Every successful High School program has them, and Sabino Instrumental is no different. You've all seen the finished product of all of the hard work and efforts put forth by the staff and by the students.

What you don't always see is the work that goes on behind the scenes, put on by special group of people -- our volunteers. The staff and students work hard to create a finely-tuned musical machine. The volunteers help to keep the wheels on and everything running smoothly.

Volunteers come from all sources: Parents, siblings, and relatives. Volunteering is endless. The tasks are many. The payment is a satisfied smile from the staff and students, the warm feeling of knowing you've played a part in making your student's experience a terrific one. You will also earn a volunteer T-shirt (after you've volunteered for 3 or more occasions). 

The time it takes to volunteer ranges from 15 minutes to several hours, depending on how much of your time you can share with us. The tasks come in all sizes: Assistance with Fundraisers. First aid. Phone tree. Trip chaperoning (local and out of town). Equipment truck loading/unloading.  Pit instrument set up/tear down. Put on bleacher seat covers. Distribute water to students during a football game.  Unload a bus.  Grill burgers.  Order/pickup subs or pizzas.  Meal arrangements/Banquets/Pancake Breakfasts. Adult presence.  Uniform measuring/maintenance. Equipment repair. Purchasing. Make travel arrangements.

Regardless of the size of the task, big or small, one thing remains constant:  Each task is an important one.
